PARENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
There are many ways to volunteer at Chinook M.S. While some are for school events and others are for PTSA events, they are all to benefit the Chinook students. It's also a great opportunity to see your student's school in action and get to know staff and other parents. This list is updated throughout the school year as new opportunities arise, so please check back occasionally. We have both Year-Round Opportunities and Monthly Opportunities.
VOLUNTEER APPLICATION FORM: Bellevue School District (BSD) requires that all parent volunteers fill out the Parent Volunteer Application form. You can find out more and download the form from the BSD website.

Multicultural Night
The school will celebrate the multitude of cultures that create our community through food, displays and activities, and performances. Since this will be a potluck, we ask that all who attend bring food for their group plus 50%. That means if you bring a family of 4, please bring enough food for 6. In the spirit of the evening, cultural or family based recipes are preferred. However, if time does not permit, a simple meal picked up at QFC or a pizza works. Besides food, the evening will include an open house of stations set up by Chinook families representing countries, cultures and regions around the world, as well as a variety of performances later in the evening. |
