What is SHINE ON CHINOOK?
Our Annual Fall Fundraiser
October 1st - October 30th
Our Shine On Chinook campaign is the PTSA’s primary giving campaign and our first major fundraising effort of the year. Our goal is to raise $65,000 through Shine On Chinook to provide critical student support at Chinook.
This year, we are fundraising with a specific priority in mind: supporting a Proactive Behavioral Intervention Specialist (PBIS) role at Chinook. This important student support role was eliminated as part of last year’s district budget cuts. We believe proactive behavioral support plays an important role in creating a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.
We are kindly asking families to consider a donation of $250 per child to help us reach our Shine On Chinook goal. Of course, every donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. We value the spirit of giving and believe that every contribution makes a meaningful impact on our students, teachers, and school community.

Keep an eye out for the gold envelopes sent home with your student. Each returned envelope or donation will enter your child into our Shine On Chinook drawing. We will select one winner per grade level!
