Chinook Middle School PTSA is excited to bring Bellevue Youth Debate to Chinook students!
When: Tuesdays, 4:00 - 5:30 PM starting September 22nd
Bellevue Youth Debate will introduce students to the fundamentals of debate while helping them build confidence, communication, critical thinking, research, and argumentation skills. Students will learn how to develop persuasive arguments, support their ideas with evidence, listen to different perspectives, and communicate their thoughts clearly and respectfully.
Whether your student is already interested in debate or simply wants to become a more confident speaker, all skill levels are welcome. No previous debate experience is required.

• Research and argumentation
• Building persuasive arguments
• Listening and communication
• Respectful discussion and disagreement
• Debate techniques and practice
• Opportunities to explore competitive debate
Ready to Join? Students will have the opportunity to learn from Bellevue Youth Debate instructors, develop valuable communication skills, and discover the world of debate in a supportive environment.
