Join the Chess League

Seattle Metro Area Middle School Chess League - Players Wanted for Oct. 17
Interested in competing against other middle school teams as a member of the Chinook Chess Team?
If you want to keep playing chess, but don't have a lot of time, this is the perfect way to stay involved. We are forming a Chinook team to compete in this middle school league. Matches take place monthly after school on eight Fridays during the school year, starting on October 17 and ending in May. Matches are held at Eckstein Middle School, near U Village at 4 pm. Each team consists of four boards and each player plays one game, so you will be done around 5:30 pm. You do not have to play every match.

Transportation from Chinook to the matches and back will be provided. For more information contact Laila Hilfinger
